Build Masjids. Build Communities
The masjid is the heart of the community and we aim to build a masjid in a village where a high proportion of the villagers have accepted Islam.
Jaabir Ibn Abdullah (RA) said that the messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, like a sparrow's nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Ibn Maajah 738).
Build Classrooms
We build classrooms for new schools, existing schools or as part of a masjid build. Within the classrooms, both boys and girls are taught a wide range of subjects.
The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Allaah, the angels, the inhabitants of the Heavens and the Earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish in the sea, send blessings upon the one who teaches the people good” (Tirmidhi).
Udhiyah-Qurbani, Sacrifice
We sacrifice animals at the time of Eid Ul Adha and feed the needy.
Narrated by Anas ibn Malik, the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer, he just slaughtered it for himself, and whoever slaughtered it after the prayer, he slaughtered it at the right time and followed the tradition of the Muslims.”
Zakah (Giving Alms)
We pass on your zakah to the poor.
“True piety is this: to believe in God, and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, to give of one’s substance, however cherished, to kinsmen, and orphans, the needy, the traveler, beggars, and to ransom the slave, to perform the prayer, to pay the zakah.” (Qur’an 2:177).
Fidyah
It was narrated that Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Maajah, 1746.
Iftaar (feeding the fasting person)
